You may remit tuition through Cash, Zelle (203.241.9206) or Check mailed to The Art Sport, 88 Sugar Hollow Road, Danbury, CT 06810.
THE ART SPOT MISSION As a private institution dedicated to serving the public, The Art Spot requires strict adherence to our Terms and Policies. We are a zero-tolerance facility, committed to fostering a safe and supportive experience for everyone.
OUR TERMS AND POLICIES Behavior Policy
All artists, students and instructors of The Art Spot are expected to demonstrate responsible behavior in class or while on premise or attending any Art Spot activity off premise. Any damage to the facility and/or equipment because of disruptive behavior is the financial responsibility of the student and parent. The Art Spot reserves the right to discontinue instruction to any student who does not adhere to our policies or whose behavior is determined by the faculty/staff to be inappropriate or disruptive.
Registration/Class Policy
• Pre-registration is mandatory; registration is not processed unless the registration form is filled out and tuition payment has been received. A full refund will be issued if minimum enrollment is not met, and The Art Spot cancels the class.
• Refunds are available, minus a $35. processing fee, with written cancellation notification to The Art Spot up to 14 days prior to the beginning
of the first class.
• Credits good for one year from issuance are available, minus a $35. processing fee, with written cancellation notification to The Art Spot, for the period of 1 to 13 days prior to the beginning of the first class.
• No refunds or credits are extended once the semester begins.
• Make up classes are offered only if The Art Spot cancels a class, for weather or unforeseen circumstances.
• The Art Spot follows the Ridgefield School System for weather cancellations – if they cancel school, The Art Spot is closed. If Ridgefield has a Delayed school opening, The Art Spot will open with our regular hours. If Ridgefield announces an Early Dismissal, The Art Spot is closed for the afternoon/evening classes.
• If the state mandates required business closures, The Art Spot classes may be made up via Zoom.
• Please make note of scheduled class times. You may arrive 5 minutes before any scheduled class; prompt after class pick-up of students is mandatory. The first time a child is picked up past class dismissal time with no prior agreement made with The Art Spot, there will be a warning given and documentation made. After the second late pick up and each subsequent time after that, there will be a $25. charge.
This fee is payable in cash before your child’s next scheduled class at The Art Spot.
Health and Safety Policy:
• I understand there are no medical facilities at The Art Spot and that The Art Spot will not be held responsible for any medical care. In the event of ALL health emergencies, the staff is trained to call 911, then call the parent or emergency contact. I accept the responsibility to furnish all pertinent medical history, allergies, and medications for the registered student to The Art Spot in the event this information might be needed to be made available to emergency medical services.
• Anyone who is feeling ill, please stay home. Viruses/Illnesses Warning & Disclaimer: Despite our careful attention to cleaning and disinfecting, The Art Spot cannot guarantee that students, visitors, or employees will not become exposed to or infected with transmittable illnesses. Viruses are especially contagious and a posed risk of exposure at any time in any place. Participating in any or all The Art Spot’s programing, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
Viruses/Illnesses Warning & Disclaimer:
Despite our careful attention to cleaning and social distancing, The Art Spot cannot guarantee that students, visitors, or employees will not become exposed to or infected with transmittable illnesses. Viruses are especially contagious and there is a risk of exposure at any time in any place. By using our facilities or participating in any of our programs, participants are acknowledging and accepting these risks.
Release of Liability:
Parents, and legal guardians of students, and adult students, fully waive and relinquish all claims against The Art Spot, LLC, it’s owners, instructors and employees from accidents, injuries, loss, theft, or damage which may be sustained by any parent or student at an on premise or off premise Art Spot activity. The Art Spot is not responsible for any artwork or personal belongings left at on or off premise activities.
Any person participating in on or off premise Art Spot activity knowingly assumes full responsibility for any injury, illness, or other loss that may be sustained from the risk of possible exposure to communicable diseases, including Covid 19.
By signing this registration form, using our facilities, and/or participating in on-premises or off- premises Art Spot activities, you are acknowledging and accepting all the Terms and Policies stated above. I HAVE READ THE GUIDELINES AND AGREE TO ALL STATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
